Liz Neporent, Author and Fitness Expert

Liz Neporent

By day, she serves as a national expert on health and fitness, writes books and articles for national magazines and, when time permits, makes guest appearances on the television morning talk shows. But in her down time, Liz likes to spend time with her young daughter and running, rock climbing or hiking with her husband. With a master's degree in exercise physiology, Liz can go on and on about regular exercise. But she also sees the important role supplements play in the lives of her fitness students. She's been a member of the Wellness Cohort for more than 10 years and personally turns to these supplements to enhance her wellness regimen.

  • Glucosamine & Chondroitin
  • Calcium + Magnesium
  • Multivitamin
  • Vitamin D

Along with regular exercise, a healthy diet and time to relax, Liz notes the following reasons she takes supplements:

  • "I feel like supplements help me take better care of myself."
  • "It's just one of the smart things I do to help maintain good health."
  • "Supplements help me protect my joints."
  • "I also want to set a good example for my daughter."
