David Grotto, R.D., L.D.N.

As a registered dietitian, Dave Grotto emphasizes the barriers that keep Americans from being completely healthy, such as damaged/aging skin, muscle pain or cognitive decline. Grotto speaks and writes on health and wellness topics that include nutritional oncology, integrative approaches to cardiovascular disease, alternative medicine, kids' nutrition and optimal dietary strategies for men. He discusses the responsible use of supplements, citing studies and urging people to discuss supplements with a physician.

His own daily regimen includes men's formula vitamins and fish oils. He takes other vitamins and supplements from time to time as a preventative measure.

"I have yet to meet someone who eats perfectly seven days a week," said Grotto. "Supplements are a critical point to achieving wellness."
